meet our staff

  • lead pastor, dr. steve grieme

Steve grew up in Florida, graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Steve spent 10 years on staff at a church outside of Seattle, WA and he became the Lead Pastor at Central in June of 2018. Steve loves the local church, loves telling people about Jesus and what Jesus is doing in his life, and helping people understand how a relationship with Jesus impacts all aspects of our everyday lives. Living and growing in a relationship with Jesus is the one thing that defines his ministry. Steve oversees the Preaching/Equipping here at Central and leads the way in shaping the vision God has given our church.

Steve also serves on the board for Rural Church Youth Ministries and spends time each week training pastors in Sierra Leone, Africa. Part of his mission in life is to make disciples here locally, throughout our country, and all over the world. When Steve is not at church you can usually find him hanging out with his wife, Stephanie, and their three kids, Emma, Bree, & Pierce. They enjoy a good hike, going to the beach, finding a good book at the library, but most of all, time together.

  • administrative pastor, ethan white

Ethan loves making other people successful as the Administrative Pastor at Central. He oversees the First Impressions Ministry and our Central Groups ministry and also tries to help out with as much other stuff as he can. Though Ethan grew up in church, he went off to college doubtful of whether God exists. However, God proved him otherwise, and that realization was revolutionary. Where he struggled with insecurity and significance, he realized that Jesus had died for him, to pay for his sin, giving him infinite worth. And where he struggled for purpose and meaning in his life, God gave him the exciting adventure of living in His truth and sharing His love with everyone else. After graduating, he spent two years in campus ministry with the Navigators, where he met his wife Melissa and then went on to Dallas Theological Seminary. Ethan never had the goal of being a church pastor, but when he was given the opportunity at Central after he and Melissa had been members for 4 years, he discovered his true calling. Ethan loves having fun at work!

In addition to his best friend Melissa and their kids—Noah, Grady, Alex, and Rachel—some of the things he really love are the New York Mets and baseball in general, hiking/camping, reading, being healthy, and music, and their German shepherd mix, Aria

  • next gen pastor, brian davis

Brian’s passion for ministry began during his college years. After pursuing various career paths, Brian realized that God’s will for his life was to surrender to full time ministry. God continued to guide Brian through the mentoring of other Christian leaders and through prayer. After being involved in many different areas of ministry, Brian realized his passion for kids ministry. Currently, Brian serves as the Next Gen Pastor and has the opportunity to use his gifts to invest in the lives of the kids from birth through 12th grade in our ministry. His energy and creativity facilitates exciting times of worship and Bible study for kids on a weekly basis and through seasonal events.

Brian has many skills that contribute to his ministry and to him just being an all-around fun guy. Brian never passes an opportunity to sing loud to his favorite songs… especially if it is for karaoke. He wishes he could destroy all pine cones. He is an award winning poet. He once ran a marathon without training; although, he wished he trained for it after crossing the finish line.  Brian considers himself somewhat of a philosopher. One time he was in a theological debate with his friends, and when one of his friends mentioned something about “normal,” he then said, “But what is normal?” It was super deep. Brian is not a coffee drinker. There was once a time when he was tricked into drinking coffee. He thought he was drinking a funny smelling hot chocolate, but he’ll never make that mistake again. Brian doesn’t get the chance to snowboard too often, but when he does, he jumps on the opportunity and loves it! Many of times, he has taken a “red eye” snowboarding bus trip to a mountain… It is called “red eye” for a reason, because when the tiredness hits you, you have red eyes and bags under your eyes that get mistaken as Gucci bags. These skills and more are what make Brian so great with kids, and lastly, his video gaming skills are second to most!
